Strong, fresh smell straight out of the bottle, exactly what pure tea tree should be. I add a couple of drops to my shampoo and a few to my diffuser. The amber bottle and dropper feel a step above the cheap ones I'd bought before.
Good quality oil and the 4oz size lasts a long time. I use it diluted for spot care and in my DIY cleaning spray. Only docking a star because I wish it came with a glass dropper instead of the orifice reducer, but the oil itself is great.
I keep one bottle in the bathroom and one in the cleaning cupboard. Mixed with water and a little vinegar it makes the whole kitchen smell clean without that chemical sting. Will reorder the 2-pack next time.
Does what I want and the potency seems consistent between bottles. A little goes a long way, so remember to dilute, the first time I went too strong. Shipping took about a week to reach me, which was fine.
How to use
- 1Patch-test first: dilute 1-2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil (jojoba, coconut, or almond), apply to your inner forearm, and wait 24 hours.
- 2For skin or nails: dilute to roughly 1-5% in a carrier oil (about 1-3 drops per teaspoon) and apply to the target area with a cotton swab. Never apply undiluted to skin.
- 3For hair or scalp: add a few drops to your usual shampoo, or blend into a diluted scalp oil, then rinse thoroughly.
- 4For aromatherapy or cleaning: add 3-5 drops to a diffuser with water, or combine with water and a mild soap or vinegar for a DIY surface spray. Keep away from eyes, store cool and dark, and keep out of reach of children and pets.
